Short Biography
Bob's current scholarly and research interests focus on the application of theories from constructivist theories of education and research in learning science to enhance learning in adults in colleges and universities and in the workplace. He has a special interest in how technology can be used to enhance learning and generalization, especially in the use of video cases in teaching. He is interested in exploring two sets of questions: (1) What practices most effectively produce accessible and useable knowledge in students? and (2) What program design features make it possible to implement this type of program in a research university?
