(As of Fall 2011, the OL & HRD programs will become part of the Leadership and Organizational Performance program).
The M.Ed. program in Organizational Leadership will prepare you for leadership positions in the private sector, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. As a student in this program, you will come to understand the social and political context of organizational decision-making issues. Additionally, you will develop the skills necessary to manage organizational change and development, as well as conduct research and evaluations within organizations. Your program of study will include a practicum in which you will apply what you have learned in an organizational setting.
A degree in organizational leadership focuses on building leadership skills that are applicable across industries rather than a specific discipline. The OL curriculum is both strategically focused and innovative, matching contemporary leadership theory with today's best leadership practices. The principles of the OL program combined with a student-tailored experience generate outcomes that other degrees cannot offer.
