Tonya Simmons
Administrative Officer
Tonya Simmons has been employed with Vanderbilt University since 1993. Prior to working at Vanderbilt she conducted gerontological research for the Borun Center at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and currently works as the Financial Administrator for the Center for Evaluation and Program Improvement and for the Peabody Research Institute. She has served as Project Manager on both the Ft. Bragg Longitudinal Evaluation, which was a follow-up to the Ft. Bragg Evaluation project - a large-scale evaluation of innovative continuum of care for delivering mental health services to children and adolescents of military personnel - and on the Enhancing AD/HD Rx Effectiveness in Pediatrics and Schools project - an evaluation of the communication and coordination among the physicians, teachers, and parents of children with ADHD or at risk for ADHD.
