Short Biography
Kristen Tompkins is a Clinical Instructor and Internship Coordinator in the Human and Organizational Development department. Kristen's main research interests focus on career development, personality and career assessments, and their implications for college students. She is especially interested in career exploration curriculum development.
Kristen earned her master's in Human Developmental Counseling at Vanderbilt. Kristen has achieved the designation of National Certified Counselor and Global Career Development Facilitator.
Among her professional affiliations, Kristen is the past President of the Tennessee Association of Career Professionals International. Kristen's community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee and volunteering with Reading is Fundamental.
