New tool to improve teen mental health services

A new tool called the Peabody Treatment Progress Battery, or PTPB, will help deliver ongoing feedback to doctors and clinicians treating teens with mental health concerns, with a goal of enabling mid-course treatment corrections.

In whole-school reform, staying true to model matters

In a five-year federal study, researchers from the American Institutes for Research tracked the life cycle of comprehensive-school-reform (CSR) programs in hundreds of elementary and middle schools across the country. They found that CSR only works when external models are implemented faithfully and consistently for three to five years. Laura M.
